New England is no stranger to weird weather conditions. The calendar says it’s spring time, but the recent snowfall still lingering on the ground suggests otherwise. Even when the weather is bad, there are still ways to create a comfortable and good-looking outfit. Now, it’s time to break out the Hunter® boots and put away the snow boots, so we can show off the latest fashion colors for spring 2017.
Even though some of us are still in hibernation mode, everyone is hitting the gym because bikini season is right around the corner. Perfect spring activewear includes brightly patterned leggings, with a white tank top, a light sweatshirt, a windbreaker (just in case it rains on your jog) and a gray Adidas® tubular.
Everyone knows the ‘90s style is on the top of the trend bell curve. The latest way to wear a dress is with a white T-shirt underneath paired with white Converse®. This look would certainly have Corey Mathews speechless.
Everybody wants to be lazy every once and a while, so why not do it in style? For a more relaxed and casual look, throw on a denim jacket. Some small embroidery around the collar and rose patchwork down the buttons can certainly revive your inner hippie. Wear it with any shirt you have in your closet – a sexy low cut shirt or even a graphic tee. Show it off with a pair of black leggings and top it off with a nice pop of color. Add a Lucky® wedge or a nude ballet flat to complete the look.
Even if you’re having a lazy day in the dorm, you can still look cool. Put on a fun graphic tee with a pair of dark-wash Levi’s® jeans to compliment the look. When you go out to a local bar with your friends, throw on a black leather jacket and a set of black high heels and you are one hot ticket chick.
Fashion says something about who we are. Look at what you are wearing right now. It’s a way to show off your hippie side, your casual side or your fun athletic gym side. What does it say about you? The spring fashions are all about color and fun, but are still practical and comfortable. It is easy to make a statement. But now that spring is here, you can look fashionable and feel cool all the same time.
